To Read or Not to Read: This book is a great read for someone who loves a good mystery, page turner, or book that makes you think. The premise is interesting; a wife/widow who is left behind after her husband is killed in a car crash with another woman.

Overall: Impression of the book overall was a good one. (Disclaimer: I didn't read the book - I listened on audio book) Dara Rosenburg is who narrated the book and she does an amazing job of portraying all the emotion that "Jacks" goes through as she learns to cope with the loss. It is written from her perspective and therefore as a reader you only know what she does as the story progresses. Get ready for some twists and turns that zig zag as much as the Road to Hana! As I tend to figure out pieces of the puzzle early, I have to be honest and say I did figure them out, but only right before the author revealed the truth.

Overall, is was a good read that was entertaining to hear. The characters are well written and do show growth as the story progresses. The ending I feel is an actual ending - there is a conclusion to the story as opposed to leaving it open or a cliffhanger.

Other Interesting Notes: Some triggers in this book; there is death, somewhat of an aggressive pursuit, loss of a significant other, and cheating. The author is great at painting what "Jacks" is actually experiencing, so if you are easily swept up in the emotion of a book - you may want to read or listen in a private space, as some scenes are heart wrenching.

If you choose to read it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
