The Winter Sister

To Read or Not to Read: Definitely a to-read! This was an amazing mystery to dive into, it's built around a family with no father figure and told by the youngest sister about her older sisters murder. She tells the story of how the event ripped her world apart. It is not your typical "who-dunit". It delves into the darker side of a violent act and how it can affect those that are left behind.

Overall: I really enjoyed reading this book. Was one of those that you want to flip through pages as fast as you can to learn more but then you near the end and slow down for fear of the end! I had a book hangover after finishing - was not motivated to pick anything up - for a few hours!! I did figure it out before the big reveal, in fact I texted my hubby at page 182, so there would be a witness if I was right. If you are a person who figures out mysteries early, you may have the answer before it's given - even then this story was an entertaining read.

Other Interesting Notes: Of course triggers for this book suicide and murder, but also includes estranged families, and dysfunctional family dynamics.
